Microsoft onmicrosoft.com default domain and DMARC

Hi GCA Community,

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but the initial Microsoft “xxxxx.onmicrosoft.com” domain which is created during 365 setup, does this also require a DMARC txt record setup even though we add and use our own domains separately within 365?

I note it already seems to have SPF and DKIM already set so I assume Microsoft automatically protect this domain?

Any comments or advice is appreciated

Hi Kevin
You can/should only care about your own domains, the onmicrosoft.com subdomains are Microsofts responsibility.
